Funny Lessons Books Have Taught Me

Every book comes with a life long moral or lesson that sticks with you long after you've finished read the book. Looking back at most the series I've completed and the books I've recently read, I plucked some hilarious life lessons that I've learned. I picked the most popular series so that everyone could enjoy this post and revel in laughter. I hope that this post is actually funny other wise that would just be really really awkward, and I would be the only one laughing. If any of these are offensive in any way, just tell me and I'll be sure to fix them. My only intention is to make you guys laugh and not offend any of these books with my jokes. Enjoy!

Save food and water so we don't end up having a Hunger Games, where children fight to the death to become the victor.

Never take a truth serum unless you want to risk the chance of loosing your friends and telling everyone that you're a murderer.

Don't go looking for someone who doesn't want to be found.

Never have babies with a vampire unless you want to unleash a war with the undead and, not to mention, the Volturi.

Writing a book in the basement in the middle of the night will help you survive a bombing. ( do you get my reference? )

Date a drummer if you want to live a long life of passionate love ;)

If an alien race has threatened to take over your body and the only way you can get out of it is by killing yourself, don't jump out a window . It won't be enough to kill you!

Every girl in the universe needs someone like Will Herondale.

Don't go to college with your twin sister. *tsk tsk*

I've learned... 

If you're in prison and you're given a chance at freedom by fighting in a competition to find the best assassin, just stick with the prison. 

Oh and..

Avoid falling for the Captain of the Guard AND the Crown Prince

Don't go into an underground shelter built by your strange-looking neighbor when walking home from school, kids.

Don't eat too many chocolate frogs on the way to Hogwarts unless you want a stomachache.

There are people that exist with both Red and Silver blood.
