Questions by Paranoid Puppet
1. What's your favorite book and why?
Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. I'm in love with Sarah J. Maas because she basically has an ability to create a new world and pull her readers into the conflict with her characters. She's a master at world building, and she definitely knows how to leave a grand cliffhanger.

2. How did you start reading?
I was always reading at a very young age. I guess one day I was just bored and decided to pick up a book that I though would quench my boredom- I was right!

3. A book everybody loved and you didn't?
Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor. Please don't hate because I know there are a lot of people who fell in love with this series. I thought it was too confusing and jumbled for me that I was so discouraged to finish the rest of the series. I'm sure it is as great as everyone makes it out to be, but it's just not for me.

4. A book everybody hated but you didn't?
Endgame by James Frey. Many people have had recent problems with the author and were reluctant to read this book. I thought it was a fantastic read and totally worth checking out. But, of course, that might be just because I had no prior issues with James Frey.

5. What's the biggest book you've ever read?
Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas with 564 pages. I don't exactly know if it's the biggest book I've ever read but it looks like it's the biggest in my library.

6. Favorite comic?
MARVEL comics? I don't read many comics, although I wish I were a comic book guru.

7. Favorite comic hero?
Superman? I don't read many Marvel comic books or movies.

8. Favorite comic villain?
Poison Ivy. Why can't we all learn to love her even though she is a bit prickly? She's so beautiful and really inspiring.

9. Best series you've ever read so far?
THRONE OF GLASS BY SARAH J. MAAS! This series isn't yet finished but omg you can't go wrong with reading this series. It's utterly the best and the greatest! Need I say more?

10. Do you like classics?
NO! I plainly don't like classics, and I think that's why I'm such a weird and picky reader.

Questions from the lovely ladies at Novel Ink
1. What book was your biggest disappointment in 2014?
The Raft by S.A. Bodeen. I think this was the book I was really excited about because of the amazing premise, but then found it to be so annoying. Plus, the writing was not even... *gets upset* I can't even talk about that book!

2. If you could be friends with a character (boy and girl, if you'd like) who would you choose?
Is it a surprise that I would choose Celaena Sardothien from the Throne of Glass series. NOPE :P

3. What book would you like to become a movie/TV show?
OMG *laughs crazily* ... You all know my answer..

4. What famous person would send you into total fangirl/boy mode?
Theo freaking James. If I saw him on the street, I would sprint on over to him and knock him down. Then hug him. Kiss him. And never let him go ;)

5. What is your favorite show to splurge on while watching Netflix?
The 100! That show is the bomb.com. Such an interesting Science-Fiction show that takes place in the future where Earth has been destroyed by radiation and these group of survivors are supposed to survive in space. I have a whole TV show review on it, for those who want to check it out!

6. If you had three wishes, what would you wish for (and no, you can't ask for more wishes)?
I would wish for the year of 2015 to be my best year yet! I want to meet more authors and bloggers. I just want this to be a great reading year for me and my fellow bloggers :D

7. What is the most mind blowing book you've read?
Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson. I don't think I've ever read such a beautiful contemporary novel. Morgan Matson's words can do wonders.

8. What is the last book that made you ugly cry?
TFIOS!! I did read The Book Thief, and I did cry, but not as much as I did during TFIOS.

9. What is your favorite ice cream?
Oreo Cookies and Cream! The oreos in the ice-cream are so chewy!

10. Which couple do you ship the most?
I'm definitely a Tris and Four fan. After reading the Divergent series, I fell under total fangirl mode.

  1. I really need to stop dragging my feet and get a copy of Throne of Glass, it seems like you can't have a conversation about YA fantasy without mentioning it. It should be interesting to read for me as well because even though I'm 16 I more or less skipped most YA fantasy and went onto the adult stuff (therefore, 564 pages seems relatively normal, the longest book I've read was 1180, which took me ages to finish) so I'd really like to see what YA stuff is out there. Also, in a way it would be nice to take a break from the extreme violence present in most modern fantasy and read something a bit more cosier. And also everyone who reads Throne of Glass seems to adore it.

    1. That's great that you want to try out the Throne of Glass series! I understand that you mostly read NA and it's hard to transition back and forth back into YA, but I love how you're willing to try. Happy reading, and I honestly hope you love the series when you do get a chance to read it!

  2. Congrats! Don't worry you're not alone, I didn't like Daughter of Smoke and Bone either, but I didn't realise it was so popular! I'm also not into classics, I've only read Pride and Prejudice, though I did actually like it :)

  3. Yeah! Heir of Fire did feel SUPER long!! Maybe, it's cause the first half was a bit slow! I too love that series. No.1 answer approved *high five*
Poison Ivy? I keep thinking about that Batman & Robin movie LOL
I like classics, but they're really hard! For a long time I've been wanting to read Anna Keranina, but it's just so tough to understand all the archaic sentences! I did LOVE Pride and Prejudice! Mr. Darcy <3 and the 2005 movie version was awesome!!!!!
    Nice answers!!!
