11 Questions from Jazzie
1. What would your daemon be and why? (If you haven't read His Dark Materials, a daemon is like the physical manifestation of your soul/conscience. It's eternally linked to you emotionally and is always with you.)
After watching The Golden Compass, I have always wanted a daemon. Thank you for reminding me! If I could have a daemon, I would want an albino tiger. First of, tigers in general are hard to kill (If your daemon dies, you die). Secondly, I believe albino tigers are the most majestic things that have ever walked this planet.

2. What would your boggart be? (If you haven't read Harry Potter or watched the movies at least, you need to get on that bandwagon - Siriusly! *cough* Sorry, bad joke.) Or if you prefer to be Divergent, what would your fear landscape include?
No, no boggarts are scary. My boggart would be exactly like Ron's boggart- A giant spider! I absolutely hate spiders!! HATE HATE HATE HATE. Let's just not talk about them anymore...

3. What's you earliest memory of reading?
My earliest memory of reading was with my mom. We used to read The Little Mermaid books together.

4. What is your most anticipated book of 2014?
I am dying to read The Queen of Zombie Hearts by Gena Showalter. I can't even! The White Rabbit Chronicles series is truly amazing and a work of art. The book is scheduled to be released somewhere in September of this year so for that, I am super ecstatic.

5. Who is your favorite secondary character and why?
My favorite secondary character is Kim from If I Stay by Gayle Forman. Kim is Mia's best friend. When Mia is hospitalized, Kim brings Adam to see her in the hospital. Without Kim, I don't think Adam would've been aware that his girlfriend was in a coma.

6. What about your favorite villain?
My favorite villain is Dr. John Dee from The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series. He is such a cunning and sly character, who thinks he is always right. If you haven't already, check out my review on the first book here!

7. What is something you enjoy besides reading?
Besides reading, I love to craft. I am very versatile when it comes to crafting. I can make flower crowns, polymer clay charms, glue rings, and much more.

8. What is your favorite place (other than your hometown, if you like your hometown) that you've been to?
My favorite place to be is in Florida. Who doesn't love Florida? I mean the sun, the beaches, and the food! Miami is actually the best place to be in the month of June. Looking forward to heading back there over the summer!

9. What book do you feel guilty about not having read yet?
I feel so guilty about pushing aside Cinder by Marissa Meyer. I have the entire series downloaded on my kindle, but I haven't had the time to read it. Guilty!

10. If you were stuck on a deserted island, what book would you want with you? The answer can't be "How to Build a Boat / Raft out of Coconuts" though that would probably be the smartest choice.
If I were stuck on a deserted island, I would bring The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. I just think this is such a timeless and awesome book that can just be read over and over again. There's no way I wouldn't choose this book.

11. Do you read graphic novels? If you do, what are some good ones? If you don't, why not?
Yes, I do read graphic novels. I'm not entirely sure but if manga counts as a graphic novel, then yes, totally! I am also currently rummaging through Gena Showalter's graphic novels. Did you hear? She has turned her Lords of the Underworld series into graphic novels! How excited am I? Very.

1. The water supply has been contaminated with a toxic poison that allows people to choose what supernatural creature they want to be. What supernatural creature would you choose?

2. When I read, I get hungry. I will sometimes snack on a bowl of Fruit Loops or chug a glass of fresh watermelon juice. What do you like to eat/drink when you're reading?

3. One book that changed your life.

4. A character's death that came as a massive shock.

5. A dead character you would like to bring back to life?

  1. Hey!! I love your answers! And no worries, I'm guilty of pushing Cinder down my TBR too. I love the idea of an albino tiger as a daemon! I'm pretty sure mine would be a peregrine falcon. I'm not a fan of birds but I really love peregrine falcons. My earliest memory of reading is with my mom too. I hope you had fun answering my questions!

    Keep being awesome! =)

  3. Yey, we have the same boggart. Those nasty spider creatures always give me a heart attack. Who needs them?

You should really read Cinder, it's great.
