Book Blitz: All's Well That Ends Well by C.E. Wilson

All's Well That Ends Well (Shakespeare
for Everyone Else #3)
Release Date: 07/15/14

Summary from Goodreads:
When Hannah’s world
falls apart after graduation, she finds that there are only two things from her
old life that she can trust: her best friend Constance, and her fascination
with Constance’s cousin Benjamin. But when Benjamin snubs her advances for
superficial reasons, Hannah decides that she will have him no matter what the
cost. Hannah gathers a diverse group of allies to help her finally get what
she’s always wanted.

In this YA retelling of William Shakespeare’s All’s Well that Ends Well, follow
Hannah as she goes to the ends of the earth in her pursuit of the ungrateful
Benjamin. Are there limits to love and devotion, and is all truly well that
ends well?

Excerpt from the book:

“What if I want sex to mean something?  What if I want to love the person I’m sleeping with?”
“Then you’re going to have to look for him, dear virgin,” Patrick said, taking a long slurp from the green can.  “A girl’s virginity is like a pepper at the grocery store.”
“A pepper?”
“Or a tomato…the point is that it looks great as it ripens.  You can watch the tomato fill out, the skin growing tight and plump as the curves fill in.  You run your finger over the fruit and see that the flesh springs back to the touch.  You pick it up, turning it about in your fingers, admiring the tightness and the shininess.  You take it home, set it on the counter, and already you wonder if you grabbed the wrong fruit because it looks so different already.  The skin is no longer as taut, the flesh no longer as firm. Frowning, you go to sleep, wake up the next day and the fruit is wrinkled, saggy, and wilted.  If you wait for much longer…the fruit will rot and trust me…no one wants rotting fruit.”
“That’s a horrible analogy!”
