I would be spending it with my family and doing things that I've never tried before, which will be hard since the world will be in such chaos. I know right! The chaos in NYC would be unimaginable and that's actually why I commend him on doing an okay job with this book. Thank you so much for reading, Denise! I'm sure Aamina is happy as well by this comment :D The Book's Buzzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00787038277680033672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2574434425500537211.post-27295888445134284902016-03-23T18:47:58.022-04:002016-03-23T18:47:58.022-04:00Thank you so much for bringing this to my attentio...Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. I think if I was to read it now, I would really appreciate the ending, but at the time, I just thought it was a really easy way out. Like, literally the whole book had been building up to the question "what happens when the world ends?", yet we didn't even find out? I thought it was a bit unrealistic too - I think there would be much more riots (in my city, anyway!) and chaos than was portrayed in this book. I loved reading both of your reviews! ♥

Denise | The BibliolaterDulcie @ Riot Grrrl Readshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10592564973574638773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2574434425500537211.post-9210391686426794962016-03-23T10:48:16.317-04:002016-03-23T10:48:16.317-04:00I really enjoyed the philosophical side of this bo...I really enjoyed the philosophical side of this book and watching the characters change in response to the news. I also really liked the clear messages he conveyed to readers. I do NOT like Wallach as a person though, especially after his callous comments following the November 13 Paris attack. Great review ladies!!

Rachel @ A Perfection Called BooksRachel https://www.blogger.com/profile/06616299360211920794noreply@blogger.com
